A CLASSIC LONDON DRY GIN DISTILLED IN THE HEART OF THE SOUTH NORTHAMPTONSHIRE COUNTRYSIDE
Our Northamptonshire dry gin use carefully selected botanicals lovingly distilled in our copper alembic Velocity. We only use the classic single shot method of distillation which creates the highest quality gin. Some botanicals are cold macerated for 24 hours before adding the remaining botanicals into the hand-made Portuguese copper pot. The liquor is then heated gently to allow maximum extraction of flavour and aroma from the botanicals before the vapour condenses at an average of 75 – 78%. This is then cut to final strength using only pure filtered water before being hand bottled and labelled by our small team.
The village of Old Silson (Silverstone) is very close to our distillery, so this limited edition Gin is a small tribute to the village and its racing heritage. Inspiration for the botanicals is taking from the ancient woodlands that surround the area: rowan berry, blackberry, chicory, wormwood and nettle to name but a few.
